Our story
Grief, this painful wander on a dark and dismal island where we surrender to our sorrow and our feelings of helplessness and isolation. We believe we will never see the day when we will leave this dark, dreary and isolated place until the moment a ray of light pierces the darkness after a long journey in the night of our suffering. A glimpse of hope that lights our path.
Grief is a winding journey during which we inevitably need to face our loved one's absence. The painful cry of a broken heart.
Memories help fill the void, lessen the sorrow and allow us to cling to the good moments that we never want to forget. They hold a very important place in the grieving process and eventually in the acceptation of the loss that wounded our very soul. Artwork as well as keepsakes keep their memory alive and tangible, and honor while immortalizing the departed soul we hold so dear.
Coeur et Âme was born from devastating losses, starting with a beloved brother who died too young and cherished parents who passed away without a simple goodbye. It has also been inspired by incredible pets that left a permanent paw print on their masters' hearts and a void full of silence in the heart of the home.
Coeur et Âme is also born out of the desire to offer grieving clients tangible keepsakes of their lost Loved Ones and much needed solace delivered with empathy, solidarity, kindness, understanding, compassion and discretion. You will be guided in your process of finding the perfect memento that will bring you comfort and that will commemorate the soul at the heart of your sorrow. This is Coeur et Âme's mission, while promoting the incredibly talented artists and creators from a dozen different art crafts who were carefully selected to be part of its team based on their originality and the quality of their work.
